In 1967 Sir Frances Chichester sailed solo round the world, stopping just once. In 1968 nine sailors attempted to be the first to do the voyage without stopping. This became The Sunday Times Golden Globe Challenge, perhaps the greatest of all sailing races, and a race that caught the imagination of the world. 3 Miles Away about the 1968 race, and is a story that is poignant exciting and eccentric.

I Wish I Was a Snowflake

‘I wish I was a snowflake’ is an animation of giant colourful snowflakes. The images were created using close up macro photographs of frosted leaves
manipulated to mimic the patterns, textures and structures of snowflakes.These giant snowflakes twirl and cascade, overlap and collide, disappear and melt into the white snow creating a phantasmagoria of colour before they leave.
