Semi Precious is a two month residency at KIAC (Klondike Institute of Art and Culture, Dawson City, Canada) exploring links between the lead and gold industry.

The project is using local stories and heritage to make specific links between the North Pennines lead industry and Dawson City's gold mining heritage.

The residency will inform new animation and video work.

The process will be documented on this website to be shared by all and provide links between the North Pennines and Dawson City communities. Information, experiences and research will be posted on the site each week.
